ABOUT BASISTRACE

A small editorial desk.
Not a laboratory.

BasisTrace is an independent comparison desk for supplement labels. We transcribe declared amounts and serving sizes from label sources, normalize them to a common basis, and show the unit-cost arithmetic — without rankings, scores or paid placement.

01

What this site is

A label comparison desk, and nothing more. Each published listing names its label source and review date, and keeps its revision history. We do not sell supplements, operate a store, or accept payment for placement. We do not run laboratory tests, and no listing implies that a product was independently measured or certified.

02

Who maintains it

Listings and guides are maintained by the BasisTrace Editorial team. We don’t claim credentials we don’t hold: this is a label-transcription and arithmetic desk, not a source of medical or nutrition advice. Where a question needs professional judgment, our pages say so and link to the underlying source instead of answering it.

03

How products are chosen

Categories cover products people actually buy, selected from public retail bestseller listings at a point in time. Selection is not paid, not sponsored, and does not imply endorsement. A lower unit cost is arithmetic — not a claim about quality, safety or effectiveness, and not a recommendation.

Corrections and contact

Spotted a figure that doesn’t match its label source? Email hello@basistrace.com. Corrections are published as new dated revisions, so the history of every listing stays traceable. Editorial questions are answered by the same team that maintains the listings.
